Who we are.
joeblast.com is the website of Joseph “Joe Blast” Lawrence and JB Audio, Brooklyn, New York. It covers Joe’s music, his bio and the JB Audio plugins. The JB Audio text line is registered with US carriers under the brand name Joseph Lawrence. If you have a question about anything on this page, use the contact form.
What we collect, and why.
We only collect what you give us, and only to do the thing you asked for.
- Contact form — your name, email, topic and message, so we can reply to you.
- Plugin release sign-up — your email and the plugin you’re interested in, so we can tell you when it’s out. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you through the contact form.
- The JB text line (plugin downloads) — when you text a plugin keyword to the JB line we receive your phone number, the text you sent, the time, and the city, state and country your carrier attaches to the message. We use it to text you the download link once and to keep a record of who asked, so we can sort out any problems. See the text message terms below.
- The Vault list — your email and the DAW you use, so we can tell you when The Vault launches.
There are no advertising cookies or trackers on this site. The site keeps a couple of settings in your browser’s own session storage (for example the texting number, and the state of the page-to-page animation) that never leave your device.
Text message terms.
The JB Audio text line is a keyword line: you text us a plugin keyword, we text you back once with the download link you asked for.

- How to opt in
- Text a keyword such as JB4DAFREE or TRACKSNTREATS to the JB line number shown on joeblast.com/free. Sending the keyword is your consent to receive one reply with your download link.
- Frequency
- One reply per keyword text. No recurring messages and no marketing texts.
- Cost
- We don’t charge for the texts. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
- Opt out
- Reply STOP at any time. You’ll get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply START if you change your mind.
- Help
- Reply HELP, or use the contact form.
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Keeping & deleting.
We keep form submissions and text-line records for as long as we need them for the purpose above. To have yours deleted, send a note through the contact form with the email address or phone number you used.
Changes to this page.
If this page changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
