Play through your plugins
Hear MIDI on your own VST3, AU or CLAP instruments, not a basic built-in synth.
At launchYour catalog is a fortune.
Every beat, bassline and sample you ever made, pulled out of your old projects. Searchable, playable and draggable in seconds.
The problem
Years of projects across drives, folders and DAWs you don't even use anymore.
Basslines, chord progressions, drum patterns, vocal chops. Good ones.
Finding one means opening every project, one at a time. So you start from zero.
Stop digging through projects. Dig through ideas.
How it works
Point THE VAULT at your project folders once. It reads every session without opening a single DAW, and only re-reads what you change.
Pick your project folders. Every session is read in place, read-only.
Filter every clip and sample by instrument, role, key, BPM, chords, length or DAW.
Click to loop it. MIDI shows as a piano roll and plays through your own instrument plugin.
Pull a clip straight into your DAW. MIDI keeps its tempo and length.
“Sounds like this” lists matching ideas from every project, scored.
Example library. Names are samples.
Beyond search
Other apps either manage projects or browse samples. THE VAULT opens what's inside your projects, then gives you the tools to rework it.

Every DAW, one vault
THE VAULT reads the project files directly, so you don't need the DAW installed. A Logic session opens on a Windows PC, and a Cubase session opens on a Mac.
Plugin preview supports VST3, AU and CLAP instruments. AAX plugins are not supported. Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig Studio and REAPER are trademarks of their respective owners. THE VAULT is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
Locked down
THE VAULT never writes to a project, moves a sample or renames a folder.
Your projects and your library never leave your computer.
Stem splitting, audio to MIDI and similarity all run locally. Nothing is uploaded.
